Our Bees
We have been keeping bees in Ventura County since we started beekeeping. Unfortunately in modern day bees die more frequently than in the past. We typically lose between 30%-70% of our stock every year to CCD, pesticide applications, pests and parasites, and adverse weather. On top of that, the drought has extremely limited the normal nectar supply, limiting honey production. Because of this we expanded into live bee rescue. Now we are proud to admit we are not only saving the bees, but we are putting them to work.
Nearly all our Ventura County honey, beeswax, and other bee products are made from our local rescued bees. When you buy local products from us you aren't just buying honey. You are literally helping us save the bees.

We produce raw local honey from all our bee rescues in Ventura County, as well as some from our LA, Santa Barbara, Kern, and Washington bees! Our local varieties are avocado honey, raspberry honey, Orange Honey, Lemon Honey, and California wildflower honey. The raspberry and wildflower varieties are Bryan's favorite!

We offer two types of raw beeswax. When we harvest honey we scrape the wax cappings off of the frames so that the honey can be spun from the frames. These cappings are turned into our high quality food grade wax. We also collect wax from our live bee rescues. This wax is not food grade, but is also much cheaper.
Ventura County Local Bee Pollen
Bee pollen is fantastic for helping with allergies and a wide array of other health benefits! We offer bee pollen from all our various pollination projects throughout the year. There is not much demand for bee pollen, so let us know if you are interested!
Ventura County Propolis
Propolis is best known for its fantastic medicinal qualities! Our propolis is currently sold in very small quantities, so if you need some please call us to let us know.
